Accessibility

Short version: this site doesn't ask for anything from you, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't sell anything about you to anyone. Here's the longer, honest version.

I want this site to work for everyone. I build it aiming for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites. In plain terms, the aim is that you can get around with a keyboard, a screen reader can read the pages, zooming in doesn't break them, and the text is easy to see.

What I do

• Pages use real headings, lists, links and buttons, so assistive technology can follow the structure.
• Anything you can click can also be reached and used from the keyboard.
• Images that carry information have text descriptions.
• I don't rely on colour alone to show anything.

Where it falls short

This is a small site, and nobody outside my own work has audited it for accessibility. I may have missed something.
